G’day punters!
It’s been a busy couple of weeks and I’ve only just now got the chance to sit down and write (if I’m honest it’s actually because writing to me feels no different to what it did when it was homework at school). If there’s something more exciting to do, I’ll choose it over writing any day of the week but here I am.
Since I gave you my last update heaps has been happening. With the NSW/VIC border open I’ve visited Jess in Boorowa NSW, dropped in on some friends in Wombarra and got a beard trim in Woolongong, what an adventure. After leaving there I made my way up to Terrigal for my old mate Prousty’s funeral. What a day, it’s almost embarrassing to say what a great day it was, I know you’re not supposed to have fun at a funeral but, Prousty insisted. He’d made a video before his brain tumour got the better of him and they played it in the church, “if you’re watching this, I’m dead” he kicked off with. He then went on to give us his plan for the day and, he was very clear with his instructions. No sad stuff, he wanted everyone to have fun, so we did.
After the service we hit the Bateau Bay Hotel for an afternoon of impromptu performances from his entertainment industry mates. Adam Harvey, Gina Jeffreys, comedians, Muso’s, you name it, what a top day for a send off for a top bloke. Having sent Prousty off, it was time to get back to work, back to Victoria it was, quick stop for a night back at Jess’s, back into the Chev and into Shepparton.
It’s time to film our Summer series and that means celebrity guests. The first two episodes were filmed in the Greater Shepparton area and our guests were Greg Evans from Perfect Match and his wife Sue. What a great couple, I had an absolute ball and I don’t think I’ve laughed so much for a long time. I’m not sure when it goes to air (sometime in February I think), but I’ll let you know when I find out.
We’ve wrapped everything up now in Shepparton and moved the circus to Warrnambool. We’re about to start filming again so I best get busy. I’ll give you another update soon when I can get my head into the homework.
Until then, Keep Smilin!
Have fun!
Macca

Great story/blog Macca. Thanks for sharing your experiences, and you gotta love what you do. Cheers.
Looking forward to seeing the trip warrnambool, as it’s where the family camps each Christmas. Besides my darling husband ashes are scattered in lady bay, where the horses are trained each morning.
Keep up the great entertaining show.

Missed the funniest send off ever unfortunately. Prousty would have been proud by all accounts. He certainly was special among special.
